    2018 Pasmore-Woodman Award

The ODC Division is delighted to once again announce our call for nominations for the Pasmore-Woodman Award. This annual award was established by the Division in 2015 in recognition of the contribution which Bill Pasmore and Dick Woodman have provided to the ODC field by creating the Research in Organizational Change and Development (ROCD) Annual series 27 years ago. Through this series these inspirational colleagues have created and nurtured a platform for sharing work by scholars and practitioners. This has resulted in some landmark insights and breakthroughs and the triggering of new directions and streams of ODC research and practice.

In line with the spirit of Bill Pasmore and Dick Woodman’s work on the ROCD series, which has truly been a joint partnership, the award will be made to two or more colleagues who over a sustained period of time have managed to maintain a significant working relationship and who through this collaboration have produced original and innovative ODC research. The award can be made for work that is outstanding either in the sense of content or medium; that is, the work could have been published in the form of traditional journal articles as well as monographs, edited collections, book series, e-books, open access publications, films, etc.

Nominations should include a brief letter explaining the nature and extent of the nominees’ contributions as they relate to the award criteria as well as examples of their work. Award recipients will receive a certificate and share a $1000 prize. Award nominees need not be ODC division members. The award will be presented at the Annual ODC Division Business Meeting.

Nominations should be emailed to the ODC Division Chair-Elect, Danielle Zandee (odc@nyenrode.nl).
