Dear colleagues and friends,
I am very please to report the vote results on our Bylaws amendments. The ODC bylaws vote concluded on May 19 with a 20.05% response rate and a 98.25 approval rate. In total, 343 members (out of 1711) voted.
However, we have not achieved the 25% expected by the current bylaws! We consulted the AOM Headquarters on this issue. Given the high level of votes, they recommend us to apply general standards that HQ advises for other DIGs – at least a 10% participation rate.
I therefore confirm the Board intention to approve the amendments in the Bylaw.
I want to thank you all for your participation in this vote which we believe was important for the future of the Division!
