  • 1.  Welcome to the ODC Community!

    Dear ODC Division Members,

We are excited to be able to announce the launch of the ODC Community on Connect@AOM!

We know that ODC division members are eager for opportunities to network with each other, to build relationships, and to share and exchange professional resources. The new ODC Community makes this easy to do! The Discussion feature allows you to participate in threaded conversations where you can respond to previous messages or start your own discussion. Documents and other multimedia files can be shared in a centralized resource library, accessible to all. Members can also contribute to our calendar of events, creating a valuable one-stop resource for all of the important events, calls for papers, and other professional development opportunities that are of interest to our community.

Are you ready to get started? You can login to the community using the same username and password that you use to access your AOM member profile.

If you are not a member of AOM, but want to continue to engage with us, we don't want to lose you, so please click here and follow the brief steps.

To kick off the discussion, we'd love to know what you love about working in the ODC field! To post an answer to the group, use the "Reply to discussion" link found to the right of this message in your email.

We hope we are excited to join the conversation with this new member benefit! See you at Connect@AOM!

Thanks, @John Amis, for kicking things off. Welcome everyone to Connect@AOM and the ODC Community!

Here are four simple steps members can make to quickly take advantage of the new system:

    1. Update your member profile. Add a photo and tell us a little about your professional interest and background.
    2. Start a conversation - post a message in the ODC Discussion group.
    3. Share a resource – visit the Library and share a document, video, or other multimedia file. Sample folders have been created in the Library already, and we welcome your contributions!
    4. You have been subscribed to the Daily Digest version of the ODC Community, meaning you'll get one email each day containing all of the previous day's posts. You may elect to change to real time, weekly digest or no emails allowing you to join the conversation at your leisure. Click the orange "Settings" button on the Community home to select your email preferences.
    5. To post to the Discussion by email, please send a message to aom-odc@connectedcommunity.org.
