ODC Board Election Reminder
Dear ODC members,
We recently reached out to you with a call to help us in our search for great candidates for the three positions that will become available on the ODC Division's Executive Board. I want to remind you that you can still nominate your favorite candidates for: the ODC Five Year Position, the General Representative-at-Large and the Doctoral Student Representative-at-Large. ODC Five Year Position
This is a vitally important position on our Division leadership team. This person starts out as PDW Chair elect, and then rotates through the positions of PDW Chair (year 2), Program Chair (year 3), Division Chair-Elect (year 4) and finally Division Chair (year 5). If you know of somebody who has the academic and leadership skills that you feel would help move our Division forward, please nominate them here
General Representative-at-Large
This is a three year position with the vital responsibility to act as a liaison with the Division membership. This person strengthens the communication with our members, represents their views at Executive Committee and Business Meetings and assists with other divisional and/or joint divisional activities. If you know of somebody who is well connected and has the academic and communication skills to make this contribution to our Division, please nominate them here
Doctoral Student Representative-at-Large
This two year position is available for a doctoral student with a keen interest to represent the student voice on our board. This person acts as a conduit for communication with our Division student members and assists the Division Chair-Elect with our Doctoral Student Consortium. If you know of a promising and enthusiastic doctoral student who has the ability to make this contribution to our Division, and who will remain a student for at least one year following his/her appointment to this role, please nominate them
