Hello colleagues: I'm looking for articles, references and resources, based on your experience, on how to communicate interculturally in a networked, global organization, undergoing change. So much of our research is focussed on N. American organizations, - and much of it in a pre-global context. Let's be real. We live in an interconnected world where relationships span boundaries. Likewise, the expectation is that communication behaviours should address the different ways that non N. American cultures express themselves in organizations. If not, how can organizations undergoing the constant churn of change carry out a change program that addresses the differerent needs of a diverse work force? And how do we develop leaders who have the skills to address such workplace complexity?
I am made aware of Thunderbird's Global Mindset Inventory, which looks very promising.
Would you know of other such interesting resources? With practical examples and tools?
