Hi Everyone and thanks Lori Kendall for your invitation. My name is Magdy Amin, I graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 2016 where I had my degree in Doctoral of Management DM. My work, Both qualitative and quantitative, was on Collaboration, Commitment, and Community Participation; it was about the impact of these constructs on the performance of nonprofits in their contribution in education and development in remote areas in Egypt.
However, I still continue thinking in another topic, which is Social Change. The idea is that the meaning of performance has to be reflected in impact; and then, I still have a concern about the extent to which impact would realize social change: positive change in people, and quality of life in community. This question led me to think of the agents of "Social Change." Currently, I am working on a book about a Jesuit monk who was working in Egypt and passed away; for me, he may represent an agent of Social Change especially when he was working with youth to guide them to serve their community.
