Purpose
This Paper Development Workshop is open to PhD students, junior scholars, and senior scholars interested in publishing in Academy of Management Discoveries (AMD). The workshop helps participants assess fit with AMD and develop research ideas into well-crafted papers suitable for journal submission.

Submission Information (Required for Breakout Feedback)
Participants seeking feedback in breakout sessions must submit an extended abstract by 2 February 2026 (11:59 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time).
Extended abstracts should:
• Be no longer than 4 double-spaced pages
• Clearly state the research question(s)
• Identify gaps in the existing literature
• Describe proposed or actual methods
• Describe expected or actual findings

Breakout Session Format
• Groups of 4–6 participants paired with an AMD editor (Coeditor or Associate Editor)
• Each accepted participant should bring:
– 10 printed copies of a 1-page summary (research question, methods, findings)
– A prepared 2-minute oral overview explaining the idea and its fit with AMD
• Approximately 30 minutes of discussion per paper
• Participants may share extended abstracts in advance within their breakout group

• Wheelchair accessible; all sessions held on the ground floor (rooms 001 & 002)
