If you will be at the AOM conference in Copenhagen, consider joining the fun at AMD's Shark Tank on Saturday afternoon (3:00pm in Bella Center: Hall D – D4-m2). Like the reality TV show, contestants will "pitch" their paper ideas to a panel of leading management scholars who then, along with the audience, will be asked to vote for the most promising paper. Each contestant will be given 6 to 7 minutes (no more than 5 power point slides) to summarize the study during the live session (i.e., make the pitch). After each pitch, panelists will ask questions and offer commentary, with all the edginess (and good humor) that one might expect in a session that has "Shark Tank" in the title!
