Dear colleagues, In this third installment of "Language and Management" PDW for the broad OT, OB, and strategy fields, we explore: 1) drivers of linguistic choices in organizing, managing, and strategizing activities; 2) carriers of language, such as words, visuals, and increasingly, algorithmic systems; and 3) methodological approaches for analyzing language. A dedicated segment addresses the implications of GenAI for research method. Curious about adding language to your analytical toolkit or adopting language-based research design? Please join us at 8:00 am on Saturday, August 1:

Roundtable 1. Deep-learning computational linguistics: culture and cognition, identity, competitive strategy, category theory, social evaluation

    • Sameer Srivastava, Wei Guo, & Tao Wang

Roundtable 2. Discourse analysis: diversity and inclusion, leadership, paradox theory, organizational change, societal grand challenges, theorization with AI

    • Linda Putnam & Cliff Oswick
