    CALL FOR CHAPTER PROPOSALS

How does artificial intelligence reshape not only what we create and consume, but who we are as creative, human beings? AI makes art, writes stories and generates ideas, but also challenges our values, purpose, goals - and who we are.

The collection of chapters in this edited volume are to explore three interconnected topics, as specified below. Both empirical and conceptual contributions touching on these areas are welcome.

    Volume Structure

Part I. Creativity as the facet of experienced and challenged humanness

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

    • Creativity as a property of humanness: Narratives of creativity, humanness, and their contemporary shifts.
    • Cognitive and affective dimensions of humanness as they emerge in creative work.
    • Existential anxiety, resistance, and persistence around creative selfhood.
    • AI-engendered ontological redefinitions: What does it mean to "be creative" when AI also creates?

Part II. Creativity as a dynamic capacity contested and co-produced between humans and AI

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

    • Competing models of creativity: Social, organizational, algorithmic.
    • Human vs. machine novelty/usefulness: Different logics of evaluation.
    • Shifts in human roles: From originators to curators, editors, and co-coordinators of creative work.

Part III. Creativity as metahuman organizational practice

    • Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
    • Creative autonomy, agency, and wellbeing under creative AI augmentation.
    • Practices of adoption and resistance: When do humans embrace or sabotage AI input, and how do they do it?
    • How organizations structure human–AI creative collaboration: roles, responsibility structures, governance.
    • Futures of innovation ecosystems: leading, evaluating, and diffusing metahuman creativity.
