    Dear ODC Division Members,
The field of organizational change has evolved through decades of rigorous scholarship and practice-based innovation. Yet, a critical challenge remains - translating theoretical insights into actionable practice continues to be fragmented and inconsistent. Academic and practitioner communities often operate in parallel - connected by shared purpose but divided by language, priorities, and pathways to impact. This disconnect limits our collective ability to address the complexity, urgency, and scale of transformation that today's organizations demand.
We are therefore delighted to invite you to our Professional Development Workshop (PDW) at the 85th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM 2025) in Copenhagen:
"Bridging the Gap: Aligning Academic Insights with Practical Excellence in Organizational Change"
    Date & Time: Saturday, July 26, 2025 | 08:30 – 11:30 CEST
    Location: Bella Center – Hall C, C4-m3
This session will convene a distinguished panel of scholars and practitioners for critical reflection, generative dialogue, and collaborative exploration, with the central aim of integrating rigorous theory with real-world relevance. By participating, you will not only gain fresh perspectives but also actively contribute to shaping a shared agenda for future research and practice, as well as explore opportunities for ongoing collaboration and joint initiatives emerging from the session.
Expert voices contributing to this dialogue:
    • Patrice Rosenthal (Fielding Graduate University)
    • Elena P. Antonacopoulou (Gnosis Institute, American University of Beirut)
    • David Bright (Wright State University)
    • Maris Martinsons (City University of Hong Kong)
    • David Coghlan (Trinity College Dublin)
    • Cliff Oswick (Bayes Business School)
Whether you are a scholar, practitioner, educator, or change leader, this is your opportunity to co-create actionable pathways for the future of organizational change.
We look forward to welcoming you to this engaging and forward-looking session.
