    Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We hope you are well. We offer a brief reminder that the deadline for submitting to the Special Issue of The Journal of Applied Behavioral Science on "COLLABORATIVE INQUIRY FOR CHANGE & CHANGING: ADVANCES IN SCIENCE-PRACTICE TRANSFORMATIONS" is on 1st November 2022 (see attached).

Guest editors Abraham (Rami) Shani, David Coghlan, Jill W. Paine and Filomena Canterino look forward to receiving your submissions soon.

Collaborative inquiry is grounded in systematic conversations and honest dialogue between those who are insiders to the organization and researchers who are outsiders with the aim of both addressing changing and creating practical knowledge about organizational change (Beer, 2021). This special issue calls for both empirical studies and conceptual papers that enhance our understanding of collaborative inquiry and/or have employed a collaborative inquiry methodology in the context of organization change. Our intention is to provide visibility to empirical applications of academic-practitioner collaborations that contribute to change theory and changing practice in original ways. Ideally, studies in this special issue will address the challenges and balance of rigor, relevance, and reflectiveness in the conduct of the research process and outcomes. We also welcome conceptual contributions that broaden our understanding of ways to expand the science and practice of designing, leading, and facilitating change, changing and organization development and change through collaborative efforts.

Please feel free to diffuse this call to potentially interested people and do not hesitate to contact any one of the guest editors if you have questions about the issue.

    Thanks and best wishes

    Rami, David, Jill & Filomena
