Dear Colleagues,
We warmly invite you to a showcase symposium recognizing over a decade of regulatory focus theory in organizational research. Symposium highlights include an introduction of the theory and its history from the theory's author Tory Higgins and closing comments by Discussant Joel Brockner. Tory and Joel published an article in 2001 encouraging the use of the theory in management research, and since that time hundreds of articles have been published with this in mind. Please join the authors of that seminal article and other regulatory focus scholars to discuss new directions in regulatory focus research.
