Dear ODC Members,
The Academy meetings are coming up soon! Here are some of the program highlights for Montréal as well as a presentation of the 2010 ODC award winners.
We will kick off the ODC program a session on the role of values in ODC research. We have invited high-impact change scholars, such as Julia Balogun, Andrew Van De Ven, Ann Langley , Martha Feldman and Susan Mohrman, and asked them to challenge the foundations of change and discuss the role of values in their own research on organizational change and development. Jeffrey Ford will be leading the discussion which takes place from 8.00 - 9.30 AM in Salon A, Le Centre Sheraton.
Another exciting highlight you will want to make sure to attend is the ODC Distinguished Speaker, Michael Beer from Harvard Business School. Drawing on his extensive research base and close collaboration with practitioners, he will be addressing "High Performance, High Commitment: How to Develop a Resilient Organization for Sustained Advantage" in Salon A, Le Centre Sheraton from 3 – 4.30 PM on Monday.
The ODC Business Meeting follows in Salon 4, Le Centre Sheraton and as usual it is open for all members. Finally make sure to attend our social reception Monday evening in Salon A, Le Centre Sheraton from 6.30 PM. We are featuring live jazz music by "the ODC House Band" with previous ODC Chair Frank Barrett playing the piano.
Let me also congratulate the award-winners for best papers this year:
