    Dear colleagues,

For those of you considering Matt's conference call below, please note that
the final proposal to hold an AOM regional conference in Shanghai was not
accepted by the AOM Board. Other proposals and local initiatives were
welcomed but the Shanghai conference that was mentioned at our Anaheim
business meeting is not going ahead at this stage. Given this, please do
not hold off on plans to attend other conferences in China, such as the one
    below.

With best wishes to all and thanks to everyone who has submitted and is
reviewing for the ODC program for Atlanta.

    Julie.

Thanks Julie. Indeed, for those interested in organizational change and innovation the conference and location should provide an ideal opportunity.

Zhongguancun is considered China's silicon valley and is just outside of Beijing. Given the China govt initiative on innovation the location is particularly relevant.

Additionally there will be a trade fair that overlaps with the second day of our conference and there are expected to be 30,000 attendees. So in addition to our invited speakers and academic presenters there will be ample networking opportunities with business leaders just next door. Kind regards, Matt
